Pune: Bangladeshi Resident Nabbed For Illegal Stay In Mhalunge

Khed, 11th January 2024: Mhalunge MIDC police arrested a Bangladeshi youth for residing illegally in India. The arrest took place on Wednesday afternoon (10th January) in Shinde village of Khed taluka.

The detained individual has been identified as Subroto Sushil Vaidya, a 25-year-old resident of Barisal, Bangladesh. The arrest was made following a complaint filed by Police Officer Sampat Mule at Mhalunge MIDC police station.

According to the police, they received information about a foreign youth residing illegally in Shinde village of Khed taluka. Acting on this information, the police detained the young man and conducted an interrogation, revealing that he was residing in India without proper authorisation. Subsequently, he was arrested in connection with this case.

Mhalunge MIDC police are investigating the matter to gather more details surrounding the circumstances of the illegal residence.
