Pune: Bapusaheb Pathare Leads Padayatra in Viman Nagar, Promises Metro Line Expansion
Viman Nagar, 12th November 2024: Viman Nagar today witnessed a grand padyatra led by NCP (Sharad Pawar) leader Bapusaheb Pathare who is contesting the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly Elections from Vadgaonsheri constituency. The event saw significant participation from local citizens and senior office bearers of the Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA), as Pathare reaffirmed his commitment to the area’s comprehensive development.
During the padayatra, which covered routes including Ganapati Chowk, Yamuna Nagar, Dutt Mandir Chowk, Mhada Colony, Ganga Puram Society, Sanjay Park Society, and Viman Darshan, Pathare was warmly welcomed by citizens with garlands and flowers.
Pathare pledged to address key issues such as employment, infrastructure, education, and healthcare, promising to involve every citizen in the area’s progress. He stated, “My only resolution is all-round development. I will ensure the Metro extends to Jagadguru Sant Tukaram Maharaj International Airport (Pune), which will ease traffic congestion.”
Pathare also interacted with residents to understand their concerns, vowing to improve sanitation, water supply, roads, and women’s safety while creating more job opportunities for the youth.
