Pune: Baramati Police Took Action On 86 Bullets Spreading Noise Pollution; Fine Of Rs 86,000 Recovered
Baramati, 7th May 2023: The police have taken action against motorists who replace the original silencer of Bullet motorcycles with silencers that cause noise pollution. Baramati Additional Superintendent of Police Anand Bhoite informed about the same.
Police have recovered a fine of Rs 86,000 by taking action on 86 bullets in the Baramati division. Reportedly, the said action was taken in two days. The action was taken under the Motor Vehicle Act for altering the vehicle. In this, the action was taken with a maximum of 18 bullets under the Baramati city police station.
Anand Bhoite has warned that making illegal changes in the vehicle is illicit and if such changes are found, police action will be taken. He has also clarified that silencers that make noise should be replaced otherwise action will be taken.
