The WIL played a pivotal role in the Chandrayaan-3 mission. Chirag Doshi, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company, shared that the success of Chandrayaan-3 has added yet another feather of honor to the cap of the WIL.

Notably, out of the six booster motors (S-200) employed in the Chandrayaan mission, four were meticulously manufactured by the Walchandnagar Industries Ltd. These boosters comprised critical components such as the head end segment, middle segment, nozzle end segment, and plex nozzle control tack, all of which were integral to the first stage of the mission. The monumental flight took off on July 14th, culminating in today’s triumphant rover landing on the lunar surface, a moment that filled the officers and employees of WIL with pride and exultation.
