Pune: Bharati Vidyapeeth’s New Law College Celebrates International Yoga Day
Kothrud, 22 June 2021: On the morning of 21st June 2021, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University New Law College, Pune organised a virtual celebration on Zoom Application, with live streaming on YouTube on the occasion of International Yoga Day.
It was an event jointly organised by BVDU NLC’s NSS & Legal Aid Cell. The registration form witnessed 468 responses. However, the total number of views on YouTube were approximately 1.3 thousand. The chief guests of the event were former national basketball player Gopika Kachare and celebrity fitness trainer Sai Tapikar.
Gopika Kachare conducted a yoga session for all participants. Among the attendees were Dean and I/C Principal Dr Ujwala Bendale, organisers of the event and Heads of Legal Research and Aid Cells of NLC Dr Sagar Shelke and Dr Sapna Deo, among others.
Student co-ordinators of Legal Aid also contributed to this event. Anaya Mapari, on behalf of Legal Aid cell, hosted this virtual event.
Anaya Mapari, Manvi Shukla, Lucksheeta Srivastava, Yashasa Vatsa, Mahima Sharma and Arya Jain are the student body of the Legal Aid Cell who worked extensively toward making this programme a success.
