Pune: BJP President Nadda Offers Prayers at Dagdusheth Ganpati, Seeks Strength for PM Modi to Counter Terrorism

Pune, 26 April 2025: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President and Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda visited the iconic Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati temple on Saturday, days after the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam. Nadda offered prayers seeking divine strength for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to deliver a strong and decisive response against terrorism.
Performing a special abhishek ceremony at the revered temple, Nadda said, “I prayed to Lord Ganesh to bless Prime Minister Modi with the power and resilience to crush the enemies of our nation.”
The visit saw the presence of several dignitaries, including Union Minister of State for Cooperation Murlidhar Mohol, Dagdusheth Trust President Sunil Rasne, Treasurer Mahesh Suryawanshi, General Secretary and MLA Hemant Rasne, Festival Chief Akshay Godse, Suvarnayug Tarun Mandal President Prakash Chavan, BJP City General Secretary Rajesh Pande, and others.
The temple trust extended a traditional welcome to Nadda during the visit, honoring him with ceremonial offerings.
