Pune: Body Of 22-Year-Old Found Two Days After He Was Washed Away In Kundmala

Pune, 13th August 2022: On Thursday (August 11), a youth who had come to enjoy the rainy season at Kundmala in Maval taluka of Pune district was swept away due to speeding water. As the river had a lot of water, it was difficult to find him.

Today (August 13), after the water receded somewhat, Maval wildlife protection organization, fire brigade Talegaon searched and recovered the body from the water. The rescue was difficult but the team from Maval completed the task successfully.

The deceased has been identified as Vaibhav Desai (22), a resident near Akurdi railway station. On Thursday afternoon, he came to the Kundmala area with a friend. Even when the flow of the river was affected by the heavy rains that had been going on for two or three days, he was playing in the water. Then he is swept away in glory by the speedy flow of a river.

Nilesh Sampatrao Garade, Anil Andre, Ganesh Nisal, Vinay Sawant, Bhaskar, Mali, Avinash Karle, Vaibhav Wagh, Vishal Zaveri, Ganesh Gaikwad and Tahir Momin, Riyaz Mulani of the wildlife conservation Maval organization carried the rescue operation.
