Pune Book Fair Inaugurated; Stalls of Publication Division And Other Renowned Institutions

Pune, 28 April 2022: The 19th Pune Book Fair was inaugurated today at Creaticity, Yerawada in Pune. This project has been implemented for the last 20 years in Pune, and gets spontaneous response from citizens of the City. This year’s book fair was inaugurated by renowned writer Mr. Ashok Kamat.


This year’s exhibition features more than 40 stalls, including reputed publishing houses  across the country. Publications Division of Government of India, Census and other departments like All India Radio and the Council for Educational Research and Training have also participated.


At least 10,000 books on more than 250 different subjects are available for sale in the gallery of Publications Division. Books on History, Art, Literature, Culture and other topics are on sale at these galleries. Discount of 10% to 90% on selected publications are also available in some of the stalls.


A special competition has been organized for the visitors by the Census department with offers of incentives and prizes.  The exhibition will be open to the public from 10 am to 7 pm daily till 1st May 2022.
