Pune : Bosch company to take over Indraprasth garden for one rupee rent per year

Pune, January 24, 2020: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) run Indraprasth garden in Yerwada may be given on rent to Bosch company at nominal rent of one rupee per year. A proposal in this regard has been put forth  before the city improvement committee.

The PMC is planning to make a traffic education park at Indraprasth Garden for the young generation. The expenses would be taken care of by the company Bosch and are mentioned in the proposal.  A decision in this regard will be taken during the next meeting.

The ownership of the garden will stay with the PMC but the whole project establishment, operation, and maintenance will be under the Bosch company. There will be no expenses for the PMC. There will be no fee for the local people for entering this garden and PMC commissioner will decide about advertisement at the premises, the proposal states.

Before any construction and usage of the land, the feedback has to be taken from the park and transport department. The company will be responsible for security and accident. After 5 years the company should give possession to the PMC without any condition and jointly handle this project.
