Pune: Brave Army Jawan Saves Security Guard From Robbers But Lost Valuables
Ghorpadi, 10th July 2023: A shocking incident of assault and robbery occurred in the Sopanbagh area of Ghorpadi, where an Army jawan was targeted. Wanwadi police have registered a case against the culprits involved in this crime.
Parshuram Basappa Nagarle (39), a driver at the Army Sports Institute, lodged a complaint with the Wanwadi police station. Nagarle was riding a bicycle in the Sopanbagh area of Ghorpadi when the robbers intercepted a security guard named Mehit Saket. They mercilessly beat Saket and attempted to rob him. Nagarle, witnessing the incident, bravely intervened to stop the thieves. In response, the culprits pelted stones at him. Nagarle, wielding a knife, managed to scare them off, but they managed to snatch his mobile phone.
The robbers also threatened and robbed the security guard Saket, seizing his mobile phone as well. They escaped with two mobile phones and cash amounting to Rs 17,150. Police Sub-Inspector Sitole is conducting the investigation into this case.
