Pune : Brave Woman Nabs Accused Trying To Steal Cash In PMPML Bus, Handed Over To Police For Action
Pune 4th Sept 2023: In a daring action in a running bus of Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML), a woman has managed to catch a thief while trying to steal cash from her husband’s pocket. One accused managed to escape from the spot but the woman and her co-passanger nabbed one accused and handed her over to police for action.
According to the complaint registered, the woman, her husband and father in law were travelling in PMPML between Wagholi and Pune Railway Station at around 11 am on Sunday. As they were boarding the bus, a suspected woman and man tried to board the bus after them and tried to steal cash from the complainant’s husband’s pocket. However the woman noticed it and tried to nab the accused.
The accused woman and man tried to escape from the spot and opened an assault on the complainant but she did not deter. Meanwhile, one more passenger travelling in the same bus came for help and they both managed to nab the woman accused while the man escaped from the spot. The woman accused was later handed over to police for further action and a case under sections 392, 323 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) was registered at Loni Kand Police station. Further investigation in the matter is underway.
