Pune, 27th January 2024: Senior journalist and President of Catalyst Foundation, Sunil Mane, emphasized the need for Buddhist Entrepreneurs to seek business opportunities at a global level and then grow their businesses locally. He expressed this viewpoint during an event where the website of Buddhist entrepreneurs was unveiled.

Mane highlighted the importance of creating a network across Maharashtra and engaging in extensive societal work regarding business and industry. He urged entrepreneurs to focus on both basic and sophisticated businesses, encouraging the cultivation of modernity and the exploration of new business opportunities. Drawing insights from his travels to various countries, including America and China, Mane provided information about the business and industry sectors globally.

During the event held at Kuruli in Khed Taluka, the website of Buddhist entrepreneurs was officially launched. The occasion witnessed the presence of dignitaries, including Prof. Shyam Wakode, President of the Buddhist Business Community Association Maharashtra, and Prashant Tulve, Vice President, among others.

Mane shared information about different projects in Maharashtra and stressed the importance of entrepreneurs establishing their place in the supply chain across various industries. He advised maintaining world-class quality and becoming channel partners for global products to foster business growth. Mane also discussed the potential of industries to transform the local economy and encouraged entrepreneurs to never compromise on quality.

He acknowledged the challenges faced by entrepreneurs from backward societies, emphasizing the need for government support, particularly in the distribution of funds allocated for SC and ST communities. Mane expressed his commitment to addressing any government-level issues hindering business activities.

In his presidential speech, Prof. Shyam Wakode provided insights into the Buddhist Business Community Association, while Vice President Prashant Tulve expressed gratitude. The event showcased the collaborative efforts of the Buddhist business community to contribute to society beyond their businesses, and Mane urged the organization to focus on providing basic needs to humanity and preparing for future opportunities abroad.
