Pune: Builder Duped Of Rs 5.35 Crores, Ex-Corporator Among Accused Booked

Pune, 29th August 2022: The Kondhwa police have registered a case against a former corporator and three others in the matter of not returning Rs. 5 crores 35 lakhs and 52 lakhs according to a contract.

A case has been registered against former corporator Farooq Yasin Syed Inamdar, a resident of Mohammadwadi, Afan Inamdar and Amit Kumar Sinha. Builder Rahul Premprakash Goyal (38), resident of Dhole Patil Road has filed a complaint at the Kondhwa Police Station. The land owned by Farooq Inamdar was given to Goyal for development. Due to the failure of the accused to purchase Development Transfer Rights (TDR) from Goyal, the construction was delayed and Goyal suffered financial loss. Goyal applied to the Pune Municipal Corporation for the purchase of an additional space and after the application was approved, the accused went to the Municipal Corporation and objected by giving misleading information and cheating Goyal by obstructing his work.

Some flats in Goyal’s project were registered and sold mutually. Goyal has said in the complaint that he tried to take illegal possession by sending goons to the project site.

 

Kondhwa police have registered a case against three people in this matter. Crime Branch Police Inspector Sanjay Mogle is investigating.
