Pune: Burglars Target DSK’s Bungalow Sealed By ED, Valuables Worth Rs 6.95 Lakh Stolen

Shivajinagar, 12th October 2021: A theft case has come to light at the sealed bungalow of jailed real-estate developer D S Kulkarni alias DSK in Pune.

 

Kulkarni is in jail since Feb 2018 following his arrest in an alleged Rs 2091 crore fraud case. On October 10, 2019, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had sealed his bungalow ‘Saptshrungi’ located off-Senapati Bapat Road.

 

Based on a complaint from DSK’s close relative Bhagyashri Kulkarni (37) of Aundh, Chatushrungi police station under Pune city police has registered an FIR against unidentified persons.

 

According to police, neighbours alerted Bhagyashri about the theft. She contacted the police and the ED who inspected the bungalow on Monday. The latch lock was broken.The valuables, including eight LED TVs, three computers, three CD players, a laptop, other electronic gadgets, silver, camera, geyser, a flour mill, amounting to Rs 6.95 lakhs were stolen.

 

Assistant Police Inspector Jadhav is further investigating the case.
