Pune: Cadence Cricket Academy Lift of Doshi Engineers Trophy

Pune, 8th November 2021: Right arm fast bowler Izhaan Sayed(5-26) helped Cadence Academy register a six-wicket win over Ambitious CricketAcademy to lift the “Doshi Engineers Trophy” Interclub under 25 Invitational Men’s Cricket Tournament organized by the Path-Way Foundation and played at Poona Club Cricket ground.

Batting first Ambitious Cricket Academy was bowled out for a paltry 132 runs, Sanket Farate 68(39,8×4,5×6) stood the ground for the Ambitious Team before Izhaan Sayed ran through the innings claiming 5 wickets for 26 runs. In reply Cadence Cricket Academy put on 134 runs for the loss of 4 wickets as the 4th wicket partnership of 82runs in85 balls between Hrishikesh Motkar (51runs) and Harshal Kate(not out 26runs) closed the match   

The prizes were given away at the hands of Riyaz Bagwan, Secretary of MCA and Amit Doshi, Director of Doshi Engineers. Dinyar Patel and Shashank Halbe of Poona Club were present on the occasion.

Final Round: 

Ambitious Cricket Academy: 132 for all out in 27 Overs(Sanket Farate 68(39,8×4,5×6), Vaibhav Vibhute not out 21(49), Izhaan Sayed 5-26, Shubham Harpale 4-21, Harshal Kate 1-12) lost to Cadence Cricket Academy: 134/4 in 22.3Overs(Hrishikesh Motkar 51(67,7×4,2×6), Harshal Kate not out 26(34), Nipun Gaikwad 10, Tanay Sanghavi 3-33, Sanket Farate 1-31); MOM-Izhaan Sayed; Cadence won by 6 wickets.
