Pune Camp Set to Host Gathering for Ex-Servicemen
Camp, 12th February 2024: Zilla Sainik Welfare Office, Pune has announced an upcoming gathering for ex-servicemen scheduled to take place on February 15th and 16th at Pune Camp. Organized under the auspices of the Principal Controller of Defense Accounts, the meeting will convene at Milkha Singh Sports Complex, located in front of Command MT, Ghorpadi, Pune Camp, commencing at 10 am on both days.
The primary objective of this gathering is to address and resolve various issues concerning ex-servicemen’s pensions, as well as concerns related to the Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) and the Canteen Stores Department (CSD).
Key dignitaries, including the Minister of State in the Ministry of Defence Ajay Bhatt, are scheduled to address the assembled ex-servicemen during the event. Lieutenant Colonel Hange (Retd), the Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer for Pune, has issued a formal appeal to ex-servicemen, widows of ex-servicemen, veteran wives, mothers, and fathers to participate in this important gathering.
