Pune: Canal Route Work Brings Relief To Sinhagad Road Area Commuters
Pune, 30th August 2022: There will be some relief for regular commuters using the route now that long-delayed construction on a section parallel to Sinhagad Road across the canal has been completed.
Due to continuing flyover construction on Sinhagad Road, local commuters have been dealing with everyday traffic jams for some time. The canal road is anticipated to somewhat decentralize traffic flow between PL Deshpande Garden and Funtime Theatre Chowk.
Former elected officials from the Sinhagad Road neighbourhood claimed that this work wasn’t finished until after numerous follow-ups with the local government.
Parvati Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Madhuri Misal had also recently visited the site with civic officials to hasten the work.
