Pune Cantonment Hospital Gets Laparoscopy unit and ambulance

Camp, 24th June 2022: The inauguration of a Laparoscopy unit and ambulance amounting to Rs 39 lakhs procured through local area development fund of Pune MP Girish Bapat was held at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Speciality and Critical
Care Hospital, Pune.
The programme was presided by Brig. Bhupesh Goyal in the presence Pune cantonment CEO Subrat Pal, nominated member Sachin Mathurawala, RMO Dr Usha Tupase and Mahesh Punde, Dr Kiran Mantri, Dilip Giramkar, Shailendra Bidkar and Shashi Puram.
Introductory speech, giving details of brief achievements of the hospital including bagging the prestigious Raksha Mantri Excellence Award for consecutive 3 years, benefits extended to the patients under MJPJAY such as free dialysis, free surgeries, and future plans was delivered by Dr. Uday Bhujbal. He also elaborated advantages of High End Laparoscopy Unit for ease of doing laparoscopic surgeries which will benefit the patients as well as Surgeons.
Subrat Pal, CEO, Pune Cantonment Board conveyed his sincere thanks to M P Girish Bapat for providing financial assistance through his MP LAD Fund in these testing times of Pune Cantonment Board. He also stated that efforts are on to get funds for New Maternity Ward through CSR, NGOs.

Ambulance was inaugurated at the hands of Sachin Mathuralwala, Nominated Member, Pune Cantonment Board.
Laparoscopy Unit was inaugurated by Brig. Bhupesh Goyal, VSM, SEMO and Subrat Pal, CEO, Pune Cantonment Board.
