Pune: Car Runs Over 9-Year-Old Boy Playing In Housing Society, Woman Driver Booked

Pimple Saudagar, 9th October 2021: A 9-year-old boy has been crushed by a speeding car. The incident took place in the Pimple Saudagar area of ​​Pimpri Chinchwad city.

The entire incident was captured on a CCTV camera installed in the society premises and its video has now come to light.

In this incident, a boy named Ishaan Pradip Kasab was seriously injured when the car went over his chest, stomach, mouth and shoulders.

According to police, the incident took place at Sai Vastu Housing Co-operative Society in Pimple Saudagar around 5.45 pm on October 3. Ishaan was playing with his friends on the society premises. Sonal Deshpande, a resident of the society, was driving which ran over Ishaan, his family has reported.

A case has been registered against Sonal Deshpande for rash and negligent driving at Sangvi police station.
