Pune: PMC Release Order For Reopening Colleges, 100% Attendance In Offices And Change In Restaurant Timings

Pune, 9th October 2021: After Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar announced various relaxations in lockdown measures, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) issued a revised order on Friday.

 

The order issued by PMC Additional Commissioner Ravindra Binwade will be applicable in the Pune cantonment and Khadki cantonment areas also.

 

The revised guidelines are:

1) Regular classes of all medium colleges in the Pune Municipal Corporation area are being allowed to start from 11.10.2021 for students who have completed two doses of Covid Preventive Vaccination. All faculty and staff of the college must have taken both doses of the vaccine.

 

It will be mandatory for colleges to follow the rules regarding the use of masks, social distance, sanitation.

 

2) All the training institutes will be running at 50% of the seating capacity of the hall. It will be mandatory for the trainers and staff to have completed two doses of Covid preventive vaccination.

 

3) Coaching Classes will continue at 50% capacity. However, it will be mandatory for the teachers and staff to have completed two doses of Covid preventive vaccination.

 

4) Restaurants, bars, food courts will be open all the days of the week till 11 pm at 50% of the seating capacity. Parcel service/home delivery service will continue till midnight.

 

5) Attendance at all government as well as private offices is being allowed with 100% capacity. However, it will be mandatory for the officers and employees working at this place to have completed two doses of the COVID vaccine. They have to use the mask and follow social distancing norms.

Any person violating the guidelines will be liable to prosecution under sections 51 to 60 of the Disaster Management Act 2005, as well as other legal provisions under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code, PMC order states.
