Pune, 7th January 2022: A case has been registered with Pune police against BJP leader Jiten Gajaria for allegedly posting tweets against Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray’s wife Rashmi Thackeray and NCP chief Sharad Pawar.

The case was filed at Pune Cyber Crime police station for his tweet against Maha Vika Aghadi Members.

Priya Karpe, BJP Mumbai’s social media in-charge and secretary; through Twitter implied that “Pune police had raided Jiten Gajaria’s house at 1 am.”

In the first tweet, Gajaria had resorted to Rashmi Thackeray as “Maharashtra’s Rabri Devi ”. In his second tweet, he made a witty remark on Ajit Pawar and Rashmi Thackeray by calling on “Crass 2013 Urine remark”, which mocked the hunger strike by drought-affected farmers in Maharashtra. To which, Ajit Pawar later replied “From where will we give him water? Should we urinate in dams?”

Thereby, indirectly referring to Ajit Pawar, Gajaria has joked in Marathi (translated) “If Rashmi is running the government, am I the Deputy CM just to urinate? – @AjitPawarSpeaks to @OfficeofUT. “
