Pune : CBSE School Forges Education Officer’s Sign To Obtain Extension Of Affiliation, Probe On

Pune 18th July 2023: In a shocking incident, it has been revealed that a CBSE school of Chikhli, Pimpri Chichwad has forged an education officer’s signature to obtain the extension of Affiliation from CBSE. The incident came to light after the concerned officer who has been transferred out of Pune long ago has submitted a written complaint with the Pune Zila Parishad.

According to reports, Mushtaq Shaikh who is currently posted as Secondary Education Officer in Sindhudurga earlier worked as primary education officer in Pune Zila Parishad between 2013 and 2017. The school while uploading the documents as per the mandatory process of CBSE board uploaded the documents with Shaikh’s sign in 2019 when he was posted in Mumbai.

The officials are now conducting an investigation in the matter and said that an action will be taken against the school. It may be noted that the Pune Zila Parishad is inspecting documents of schools located in its jurisdiction and earlier cases were filed against two schools for operating without valid permissions.
