Pune: Central Railway’s General Manager Inspects Safety and Preparedness at Daund Railway Station
Pune 4th July 2023: Naresh Lalwani, General Manager of the Central Railway on Monday conducted inspection of Daund Railway station. He inspected various installations of signalling, safety train operation, track safety parameters and Over head Equipment (OHE).
Lalwani also inspected the office of Station Manager, Points Man for safety train inspections and counselled the staff regarding safety.
Further he inspected Accident Relief Train (ART) at Daund Railway Station and interacted with the staff working on ART regarding preparedness during accident and guided the staff how to work with safety.
He also inspected working system of the Route Relay Interlocking cabin for signalling system and checked the cleanliness of station along with track parameter checking.
The railway officials have been advised to frequently check the safety systems in place at every railway station especially after the Balasore train accident.
The General Manager was accompanied by Niraj Dohare, Divisional Railway Manager of Solapur Division and various branch officers during the inspection.
