Pune: Cheating Of Nearly Rs 15 Lakh On Lure Of Getting Government Job

Pune, 6th October 2022: Three people from Pune have been cheated of Rs 15 lakh on the pretext of getting a job in the Ministry of Mumbai in junior and senior clerk posts. In this case, the police registered a case against Annasaheb Ramchandra Rathod, a resident of Deepaknagar Tanda, Osmanabad.

 

A 48-year-old businesswoman from Sukhsagar Nagar filed a complaint at Bharti Vidyapeeth Police Station. This incident took place from May 2021 to March 15, 2022.

Further, the complainant has a business in spices and catering. She had advertised her business through online media. The complainant was introduced to Rathod on the occasion of the spice orders. At that time, he stated that he can give her a job in the Mantralaya.

 

The complainant’s daughter and two others who are known to her then contacted Rathod and he then took as much as Rs 14.77 lakh from these three people saying that they will be employed in the ministry.

 

Police sub-inspector Thorat is investigating the case further.
