Pune: Child Injured While Bursting Firecracker; Parents Should Take Necessary Precautions Around Children

Pune, 25th October 2022: Last night after Lakshmi Puja, firecrackers in the city caused fire incidents in 17 places, while a boy from the Narhe area of ​​Pune was injured by the same colourful firecrackers.

 

The injured boy has been identified as Shivansh Amol Dalvi. The incident took place last night at around 10.00 pm. The condition of the injured child is fine now, but the relatives of Shivansh have appealed that other children should be taken care of. Shivansh was injured while bursting firecrackers outside his house at night.

 

Shivansh’s father said, “Due to the explosion, his forehead got severely burnt but his eyes had no harm. The doctor has said that it will take around 15-20 days for his forehead to heal.”

Shivansh’s mother said, “After conducting the Puja, we all went to burst some firecrackers. Shivansh took a cracker named, “Paus”. After lighting the said cracker, an explosion suddenly occured. His father was there but he couldn’t do anything a s everything happened so fast.”

 

She added, “My only request to all parents is that they should keep their children safe from firecrackers by taking necessary precautions and be with them when they burst them.”

 

In the last few years, public awareness is being created to celebrate environment-friendly Diwali. Also, public awareness is being spread through many organizations for firecracker-free Diwali. However, there are many fire incidents due to these firecrackers. Now after this incident, the parents should take necessary precautions around their child.
