Pune City: 1055 New COVID Cases, 38 Deaths Reported Today

Pune, October 3, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 1286 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 1055 new patients were detected while 38 people died today. Today swab samples of 4682 were collected for COVID tests.

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 148,406 out of which 128,925 have been cured while 3609 have died. There are still 15,872 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 895 critical patients out of which 505 are on ventilator support.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 6,473,544 across the country. Out of this, 54,27,706 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 100,842 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 944,996 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
