Pune City: 1621 New COVID Patients Reported Today, 1256 Discharged

Pune, September 25, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 1256 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 1621 new patients were detected while 41 people died today. Today swab samples of 6142 people were collected for COVID tests.

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 1,38,951 out of which 1,17,882 have recovered while 3296 have died. There are still 17,773 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 949 critical patients out of which 523 are on ventilator support.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 58,18,570 across the country. Out of this, 47,56,164 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 92,290 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 9,70,116 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
