Pune City: 1658 New COVID Cases, 35 Deaths Reported Today

Pune, Aug 30, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 1502 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 1658 new patients were detected while 35 people died today. Today swab samples of 5713 people were collected for COVID tests.

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 94,497 out of which 76,686 have been cured while 2267 have died. There are still 15,544 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 833 critical patients out of which 507 are on ventilator support.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 3,542,733 across the country. Out of this, 2,713,933 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 63,498 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 7,65,302 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
