Pune City: 1658 New COVID Cases, 39 Deaths Today

Pune, September 19, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 1248 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 1658 new patients were detected while 39 people died today. Today swab samples of 5919 people were collected for COVID tests.

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 130,081out of which 109,371 have been cured while 3046 have died. There are still 17,664 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 957 critical patients out of which 495 are on ventilator support.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 5,308,014 across the country. Out of this, 4,208,431 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 85,619 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 10,139,64 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
