Pune City: 1880 New COVID Cases, Check Ward Wise Positive Cases
Pune, September 08, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 2022 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 1880 new patients were detected while 35 people died today. Today swab samples of 5486 people were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 109,838 out of which 90,601 have been cured while 2584 have died. There are still 16,653 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 912 critical patients out of which 480 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 4,280,422 across the country. Out of this, 3,323,950 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 72,775 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 883,697 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
