Pune City: 1938 New COVID Cases, 38 Deaths Today
Pune, September 11, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 1573 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 1938 new patients were detected while 38 people died today. Today swab samples of 6588 people were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 115,770 out of which 96,025 have been cured while 2706 have died. There are still 17039 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 917 critical patients out of which 470 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 4,562,414 across the country. Out of this, 3,542,663 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 76,271 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 943,480 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
