When Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar Gets Angry!
Pune, September 11, 2020: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Pune district guardian minister Ajit Pawar came down heavily on the district administration and warned of stern action if the administration failed to content the rising number of Coronavirus disease (COVID) patients.
Pawar who’s been under the scanner for failing to contain the COVID pandemic in the district was visibly angry in a meeting with the district administration today. He said, “the rising number of patients in Pune is giving sleepless nights yet the concerned officers instead of giving results are busy giving presentations.”
He warned that if the number of cases kept rising at this rate, then the senior officers will not be spared. “I will not tolerate any excuse hereafter”, he reiterated. The municipal corporation is worried as the daily testing are getting increased by 30 percent.
He took various meetings with different department heads since 7.30 am today and gave a strong message to contain the rising number of Corona cases.
