Pune City: 2078 New COVID Cases, Check Ward Wise Positive Cases  

Pune, September 09, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 2013 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 2078 new patients were detected while 41 people died today. Today swab samples of 7609 people were collected for COVID tests.

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 111,916 out of which 92,614 have been cured while 2625 have died. There are still 16,677 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 927 critical patients out of which 483 are on ventilator support.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 4,370,128 across the country. Out of this, 3,398,844 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 73,890 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 897,394 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
