Pune City: 2093 New COVID Cases, 44 Death’s Today

Pune, September 06, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 1569 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 2093 new patients were detected while 44 people died today. Today swab samples of 7235 people were collected for COVID tests.

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 105,905 out of which 86,940 have been cured while 2512 have died. There are still 16,453 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 910 critical patients out of which 478 are on ventilator support.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 4,113,811 across the country. Out of this, 3,180,865 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 70,626 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 862,320 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
