Pune District Reported 4744 New COVID Cases Today, Across Maharashtra 23,350 Patients
Mumbai, Sep 06, 2020: A total of 7,826 patients were discharged and 23,350 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra while 4744 new cases were reported in Pune District today. Today, 328 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 2.93%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 9,07,212 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.
According to the health department, 6,44,400 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 2.93%. As of today, there are 2,35,857 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 71.03% while the fatality rate in the state is 2.93%. Currently, 14,96,072 people are in home quarantine and 38,509 people are in institutional quarantine.
Out of 46,47,742 laboratory samples, 9,07,212 have been tested positive (19.52%) for COVID-19 until today.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 4,113,811 across the country. Out of this, 3,180,865 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 70,626 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 862,320 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
