Pune City: 2120 New COVID Cases, Check Ward Wise Positive Cases
Pune, September 16, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 1883 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 2120 new patients were detected while 43 people died today. Today swab samples of 7162 people were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 124,568 out of which 103,978 have been cured while 2918 have died. There are still 17,672 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 936 critical patients out of which 480 are on ventilator support.
Across Maharashtra, there were 23,365 new COVID19 cases today taking the total number of cases to 11,21,221. Also, 474 people died while 17,559 got discharge from hospitals after being cured. There are still 2,97,125 active cases. Till now 7,92,832 COVID-19 patients have been cured. The recovery rate in the state is 70.71 %.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 50,20,359 across the country. Out of this, 3,942,360 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 82,066 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 995,933 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
