Pune City : 338 New Covid Cases , 317 Discharged Today
Pune, December 9, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 317 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 338 new patients were detected while 4 people died today. Today swab samples of 3708 were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 172,897 out of which 163,296 have been cured while 4514 have died. There are still 5087 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 411 critical patients out of which 245 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 97,35,850 across the country. Out of this, 92,15,581 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 141,360 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 378,909 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
