Pune City: 363 New Covid Cases, 268 Discharged Today
Pune, December 17, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 268 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 363 new patients were detected while 3 people died today. Today swab samples of 3270 were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus-positive patients till date has reached 175,117 out of which 165,514 have been cured while 4559 have died. There are still 5044 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 373 critical patients out of which 226 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 9,956,557 across the country. Out of this, 9489740 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 144451 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 322,366 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
