PCMC: 171 New Covid Positive Cases, 136 Discharged Today

Pimpri, 17 December, 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 171 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today. Also, 136 people got discharged from hospitals while 02 people died today.

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 94,948 out of which 91,609 have recovered while 1726 have died. 714 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 102 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC hospitals, while 710 have died and 7266 have been cured.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 9,956,557 across the country. Out of this, 9489740 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 144451 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 322,366 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
