Pune City : 366 New Covid Cases , 698 Discharged Today
Pune, October 18, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 698 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 366 new patients were detected while 19 people died today. Today swab samples of 3066 were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 157,417 out of which 143,927 have been cured while 3983 have died. There are still 9507 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 821 critical patients out of which 438 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 7,494,551 across the country. Out of this, 65,97,209 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 114,031 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 783,311 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
