Pune City : 418 New Covid Cases , 860 Discharged Today
Pune, October 17, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 860 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 418 new patients were detected while 23 people died today. Today swab samples of 3509 were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 157,051 out of which 142,229 have been cured while 3964 have died. There are still 9858 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 827 critical patients out of which 441 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 7,432,680 across the country. Out of this, 65,24,595 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 112,998 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 795,087 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
