Pune City : 549 New Covid Cases , 825 Discharged Today
Pune, October 15, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 825 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 528 new patients were detected while 21 people died today. Today swab samples of 4220 were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 156,144 out of which 141,688 have been cured while 3920 have died. There are still 10,536 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 835 critical patients out of which 450 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 7,307,097 across the country. Out of this, 63,83,441 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 111,266 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 812,390 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
