Pune City: 993 New COVID Cases, 38 Deaths Reported Today
Pune, October 04, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 1428 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 993 new patients were detected while 38 people died today. Today swab samples of 4580 were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 149,399 out of which 130,354 have been cured while 3647 have died. There are still 15,399 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 899 critical patients out of which 504 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 6,549,373 across the country. Out of this, 55,09,966 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 101,782 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 937,625 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
