Pune City Connect Donates Medical Equipment To Baner Dedicated Covid Care Centre

Baner, 23rd June 2021: Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is preparing for the third wave of Coronavirus disease (COVID19) pandemic. The work of the new dedicated Covid Care Center (CCC) is almost complete.

To help their efforts, Pune City Connect today donated 5 BIPAP units, five oxygen concentrators, 20 Semi Fowler Beds, and 15 ICU Beds.

PMC additional commissioner Rubal Agarwal reviewed all the equipment and expressed satisfaction. On this occasion, she said “PMC is prioritizing resource building for the third Covid wave. We are also building oxygen plants and making sure that there are ventilators and ICU beds available.”

She also added that the civic body has planned properly and the administration is working on various levels to get financial assistance.

Dr Ganesh Natarajan, Chairman, Pune City Connect, said, “Pune City Connect and PMC are already working together for financial literacy and social development in various parts of the city. To date, 14,886 people have benefited from the LightHouse program and more than 50 thousand people have used the platform to become digitally literate. Pune-Austin Sister City group and our other supporters have helped us in this initiative and we thank them.”

City Engineer Prashant Waghmare, Superintending Engineer Yuvaraj Deshmukh, Chairman of Pune City Connect Dr Ganesh Natarajan, CEO of Pune City Connect Ruchi Mathur and other dignitaries were present at the occasion.
