Pune City Police Gets 'Best Police Unit in Maharashtra Award' From State Government

Pune, 11th April 2022: The Pune City Police has received the ‘Best Police Unit in Maharashtra award’ from the state government for its work in keeping crimes under control and helping people during the COVID pandemic.

Commissioner of Police Amitabh Gupta received the award from Maharashtra Home Minister Dilip Walse-Patil.

“Pune Police awarded with the ‘Best Police Unit in Maharashtra’. We are trying our best but still have a long way to go. Will strive to address all issues, big and small consistently, and will make Pune one of the safest cities anywhere in the world with your support and inputs,” tweeted the Pune City Police in all humility and gratitude.
