Pune Class 11 Admissions: Final Special Round Begins August 12; Students Must Lock Preferences
Pune, 11th August 2026: Students who have not yet secured admission to Class 11 for the academic year 2026-27 will get a final opportunity through the last special round of the centralised online admission process, beginning Wednesday, August 12.
The Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Department has announced the schedule for the final special round for students who are yet to confirm their admission.
According to the department, 15,45,640 students have registered for the Class 11 centralised online admission process so far, while 13,26,397 students have confirmed their admissions.
Students who have not yet secured admission have been advised to participate in the final special round. They will be required to enter 10 college preferences and lock both Part 1 and Part 2 of their admission application.
Education Department Director Dr Mahesh Palkar said completing the application and locking the preferences will be mandatory for students seeking admission through the final special round.

Process – Dates
New registration, filling Parts 1 and 2, entering college preferences and locking the application – August 12 to 16
Allotment process – August 17
Display of allotment list – August 18
Confirming admission at the allotted college, document verification and payment of fees – August 18 to 20
Students allotted seats in this round will have to report to the respective colleges between August 18 and 20 for document verification and fee payment to complete the admission process.
