Pune: Club 24 Sealed For Operating Illegal Hookah Parlour
Kondhwa, 26 July 2021: The Crime Branch of Pune city police raided the Club 24 lounge and pub near Dorabjee Paradise off NIBM Road on Sunday night and sealed it after finding illegal hookah parlour there.
An FIR has been registered at Kondhwa police station against its owner Amar Khanderao Lature and manager Vikram Sukhdev Jadhav (30), both residents of Mohammadwadi. The pub owner was earlier booked for violating Covid norms in March this year at the establishment.
Acting on a tip-off, a joint team of the Social Security Cell and Anti-Narcotics Cell 2 raided the pub and seized materials worth Rs 36,000.
The action was taken under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Srinivas Ghadge, Senior Police Inspector Shilpa Chavan and Senior Police Inspector Prakash Khandekar.
