Pune, July 2, 2021: MLA Siddharth Shirole has instructed the state government to use the formula of the Karnataka government to start college education as soon as possible and to give Covid vaccine to college students.

The vaccination for students could be paid but they should be vaccinated, this decision has been taken by the Karnataka government. Few courses need practicals, need to come to labs, so college students should be given vaccination on a priority basis, MLA Shirole said in a review meeting held in the presence of the Guardian Minister on Friday.

MLA Shirole suggested that the administration should stop the collection of compulsory electricity bills, fix the instalments of electricity bills to the traders, and take strict action against the lobbies who give false reports about Covid.

MLA Shirole also said that restrictions should be imposed on the taluka-wise classification of patients in rural areas on the same lines as micro-entertainment zones have been set up in the city.
