Pune: Construction Technology Day 2022 Brings Together Industry Leaders And Academia Innovators To Mark The Beginning Of CTAI Foundation
Pune, 14th October 2022: vConstruct Pvt. Ltd., a Pune-based construction technology company, hosted the first ever Construction Technology Day (CTD) on 11th October at The Westin, Pune. CTD 2022 brought together the members of the Construction Industry, Technology Innovators, and Academicians to discuss the challenges of the Construction Industry and strategies for increasing technology adoption.
The event was inaugurated by eminent personalities, including the Keynote Speaker, Prof. Martin Fischer (PhD) of the Stanford Industry, Prof. Pramod Padole (Director VNIT), and Prof. Koshy Varghese (IIT Madras). Speakers sessions delivered by Atul Khanzode (Management Committee DPR Construction), Kalyan Vaidyanathan (Director of Business Development Bentley Systems), and Dr Ashwin Mahalingam (Prof. Civil Engineering, IIT Madras) helped the audience gain insights about current industry trends and challenges.
Panel Discussions facilitated by Manoj Deshmukh and Durga Saripally from the vConstruct leadership team hosted Industry experts and several dignitaries from premier education Institutes, including Bhargav Dave (Founder and CEO VisiLean), Sidharth Haksar (Head of Construction Strategy and Industry Partnerships, Autodesk), Sagar Gandhi (Head of Strategy and Business Excellence, Shapoorji Pallonji Engineering and Construction), Lalit Lahoty (CEO, Sobha Trades), Shashikant Chaudhary (Serial Entrepreneur), Prof. Venkata (IIT Bombay), Prof. Vishal Singh (IISc, Bengaluru), and Prof. Jyoti Trivedi (CEPT) presented their perspectives at panel discussions.
The construction technology booths by vConstruct workgroups explained the solutions offered to increase predictability, efficiency, and collaboration.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Saurabh Tiwari of the vConstruct leadership team.
