Pune Corporator Demands No Mask In Private Car

Pune, January 20, 2021: On the heels of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) too should exempt the family members from wearing the mask, if they are travelling in their private car. Corporator Manjusha Nagpure wrote to Municipal Commissioner Viram Kumar and made the demand.

Although, the wearing of the mask is compulsory when in public places, if family members are travelling in one car, then the rule of wearing the mask should not be compulsory. Mumbai Municipal Corporation has relaxed this rule for members of one family if they travel in their private car.

In her letter to the commissioner, Nagpure said that it should be relaxed while travelling in a private car and must be compulsory while in public places.
